POSITION FUNCTIONS: The Marketing Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans that drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance the dealership's brand presence. This role requires a deep understanding of the marketing industry, digital marketing trends, and consumer behavior. The Marketing Director will collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure that all marketing efforts align with the dealership's overall business objectives
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITES: Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve the dealership's sales and service goals. Oversee the creation and execution of annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans, including traditional and digital campaigns. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Digital Marketing & Lead Generation: Optimize the dealership's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and third-party automotive marketplaces etc. Oversee SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media advertising to drive qualified leads to the dealership. Analyze online traffic, lead conversion rates, and other key performance indicators to refine digital marketing efforts.
Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, vendors, and advertising agencies to enhance the dealership's visibility. Coordinate and manage public relations efforts, including press releases, events, and sponsorships.
Content Creation & Campaign Management: Oversee the creation of marketing content, including advertisements, brochures, email campaigns, and certain social media posts. Plan and execute promotional campaigns for new vehicle launches, seasonal sales, and service specials.
Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with the sales team to develop targeted campaigns that address specific customer segments. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Customer Relationship (CRM): Access the dealership's CRM system to ensure effectiveness of customer data. Recommend CRM strategies to nurture leads, increase customer retention, and customer satisfaction
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Analyze customer feedback, sales data, and market trends to inform marketing strategies. Prepare regular reports for senior management on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Monitor and report on the financial effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations.
  • Excellent team skills.
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Certifications: Relevant marketing certifications (e.g., DMS- Digital Marketing, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook Blueprint Certification, etc.) are a plus.
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Benefits package offered Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k) with match, Paid time off, Employer paid Life Insurance up to 50,000, Employer paid Short Term Disability up to 12 weeks at 60% rate of pay.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing. A master's degree or MBA is a Plus.
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Marketing. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Experience with digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
