Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accurate and prompt entry of time for all estimated and actual work
2. Adhere to company policies, procedures, best practices, and standards
3. Adhere to deadlines
4. Aid in solving complex business problems
5. Assist in developing and executing QA test plans and scenarios
6. Assist the project team with comprehensive level-of-effort estimates for all necessary changes and be accountable for completing the estimated work when applicable
7. Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals
8. Communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely, and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner
9. Conform with all applicable compliance and business standards
10. Design detailed dataflow processes
11. Design solutions for low to moderate complexity projects
12. Develop basic database queries and perform analysis on results
13. Ensure all work products are documented, stored, and managed according to company standards
14. Ensure open communication flows in all directions
15. Interpret and explain business, functional, and technical requirements for specified applications to developers, quality assurance (QA) resources, managers, business leads, and clients
16. Learn and apply a fundamental understanding of key aspects of the business(es) supported
17. Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
18. Proactively escalate risks
19. Proactively seek, identify, and collaborate on innovative solutions
20. Respond timely to all production support requests
21. Review, analyze, design, and create detailed functional specifications of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop the target technical solutions
22. Troubleshoot, analyze, and debug issues
23. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline required
2. Demonstrated complex database query skill
3. Demonstrated experience of high-quality delivery in the BSA role for at least 2 stages and engaged in the full lifecycle of a project involving database development and either web, composition, full-stack, or a similar platform
4. Demonstrated skill in using reporting tools to create complex reports and dashboards
5. Experienced in software development lifecycle methodologies, such as agile or waterfall
6. Able to collaborate and work in a team environment; practices the principle of team over individual
7. Able to handle competing priorities across own assignments
8. Continually strives to improve products and services
9. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
10. Demonstrates appropriate judgment
11. Self-motivated to learn new practices, processes, skills, tools, and knowledge that align with company priorities and/or future opportunities
