Summary of the Position: Hourly, Full-Time position serving youth and families throughout Los Angeles are available.
Annual Salary: $45,760
Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.

- Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings.
- The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- Provide individualized advocacy and support services to youth in need
- Help develop and implement programs and initiatives that address the unique needs of young people
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to promote positive youth development
- Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops, events, and activities for young people
- Conduct outreach to ensure that our services are accessible to all youth in the community
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities
- All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
Annual Salary: $45,760
Qualifications/Requirements: A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and familiarity of community resources and services available
- Previous experience working with youth in a mentoring, or advocacy capacity.
- Knowledge of youth development principle and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient computer knowledge and case management databases
