You will have the opportunity to enjoy living and working in this growing area along the beautiful shores of Lake Erie.Work/life: You will find support to help you manage your personal life while building a career.What You Will Do:Rooms and triages patients, conducts point-of-care testing, performs professional medical scribing and phone triage services for assigned provider(s) or department(s) under the general policies and procedures established by Center for Coordinated Care. Under supervision of the provider(s), participates in providing health promotion, health maintenance, and management of illnesses. Responsible for assisting provider(s) with patient care and provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinic services.Performs computerized documentation of plan of care in the patient record as dictated by provider while examining the patient.Transcribe the patient’s History of Present Illness, Assessment, Treatment Plan and follow up instructions as dictated by provider.Document patient information in patient charts with exceptional accuracy and detail.Maintain efficient work flow and speed to decrease patient visit times and increase the provider productivity and patient satisfaction scores.Prep patient charts before the encounter to make sure all labs, imaging, and prior tests are in the patients charts for easy access for the provider.Triage phone encounters from patients in relation to nurse questions, concerns, or request for medically appropriate care recommendations, escalating call if necessary.What You Will Need:High school graduate with successful completion of an accredited/licensed school of nursing or Medical Assisting program with State Certification.
