We are looking for a Sr. Bookkeeper to join the financial department. As the Sr. Bookkeeper you will support employees, customers, and third-party vendors in receiving invoices, payments, and track receipts.

1. Accounts Payable – Purchase orders, item/goods receipts, invoices, and payments
2. Accounts Receivable – Invoicing customers, collecting and recording receipts
3. Bank and credit card reconciliation
4. Period close reconciliations, accruals, and revenue cut-off journal entries, etc.
5. Coordinates timekeeping and payroll systems
6. Tracking employee attendance system
7. File payroll tax and quarterly tax reports
8. Administer company benefits (health, 401k, etc.)
9. Other related duties as assigned

1. 5+ years experience in bookkeeping (experience in QuickBooks - an advantage)
2. Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP), laws, and regulations
3. Familiarity with payroll software/HRIS
4. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
5. Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) – an advantage
6. Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail
7. Service-oriented, multitasking
8. Outstanding oral and written communication skills
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
