Sales Manager
Summary
Responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in their market segments; prospecting and closing on assigned accounts to positively impact hotel revenues, developing, coordinating and executing marketing promotions and contracts with the objective of increasing business and revenue. Coordinates arrangements for group meetings and conventions by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts from all Corporate market segments assigned to manager.
  • Identify, qualify, solicit, negotiate and contract accounts
  • Invite clients to the hotel for entertainment, lunches, tours and site inspections.
  • Create and implement quarterly sales action plan.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly individual sales goals and annual hotel goals.
  • Solicit potential clients for future business on an on-going basis using hotel systems.
  • Attend hotel and industry related events/functions, road shows and tradeshows.
  • Entertain potential and existing clientele daily, weekly, monthly to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Initiate and follow-up on leads within 24 hours.
  • Work with DOSM to create promotional materials and campaigns to drive catering sales.
  • Utilize social media, email marketing, and other channels to promote the hotel's catering offerings.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Administrative and Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details in the CRM system.
  • Generate regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years related experience in hotel group sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Hilton and Delphi property management systems experience preferred.
  • Evenings and weekends as required

Salary: $70,000 to $74,000
