Tax Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their growing team. This is a full-time / permanent position with a direct client of Aprio Talent Solutions.

Role/Title: Tax Supervisor

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Onsite / Hybrid: 5 days per week during peak season / Hybrid during non-peak season.

Salary: $115 - 120k+ (Flexible based on candidate experience / requirements)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 150 clients (Individual, not corporate)
• Prepare and review accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, trusts, and estates. (This role is mostly individual returns)
• Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional client service throughout the tax preparation process.
• Assist clients in planning and consulting on tax-related issues including estate matters, tax issues, and business strategies.
• Identify opportunities to expand services to clients.
• Cultivate new client relationships through referrals and networking.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work onsite in the Santa Rosa, CA office
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification/ EA preferred
• Proficiency in CCH tax software a plus, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Tax Planning/BNA
