We pride ourselves on bringing innovative lighting products to consumers through multiple distribution channels, including numerous eCommerce platforms and marketplaces. We are looking for an eCommerce Marketplace Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Description

The eCommerce Marketplace Manager is responsible for driving business growth across multiple eCommerce platforms, including key marketplace accounts like Amazon, Home Depot, and Lowes. This strategic role will manage our 3rd party digital platform accounts and handle all daily activities and marketing operations including creating and maintaining product listings, ensuring account health and product compliance, and overseeing advertising campaigns and sales initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Product Listing Management: Maintain the online presentation of our product portfolio on all eCommerce sites, including Shopify stores and 3 rd party platforms (Amazon Warehouse/Vendor Central/Seller Central, HD, Lowes, Wayfair, Walmart, eBay, etc.)

  • Create new item product listings with a sense of urgency, focusing on data accuracy and channel specific content requirements
  • Review and understand online marketplaces best practices for product titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, and enhanced content to improve listing quality and increase conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and informative product content, images, videos, and other creative assets; set deliverable deadlines and ensure they align with brand messaging and marketplace requirements
  • Manage 3 rd party platform branded storefronts and proactively develop content plans to enhance brand presence and increase engagement
  • Complete regular audits on all product listings to ensure proper operation and optimization including product titles, bullet points, descriptions, pricing, keywords and other product details

Marketplace Platform Management: Represent the company as the main point of contact for digital platform partners and manage marketplace accounts and partner relationships

  • Stay updated on 3 rd party platform policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance in all aspects of eCommerce operations
  • Collaborate with platform account managers to enrich partnerships and drive growth; work closely with platform support teams when necessary to address and resolve any account or listing-related issues
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and provide follow-up on all platform related tasks in a timely manner, including product listing, compliance, and account issues
  • Facilitate product sampling programs for online reviews (Vine, Seeds, etc)
  • Manage inventory across all platforms to ensure accurate availability status

Optimization and Growth: Continuously enrich online listings with enhanced media content on all platforms, including A+ content, videos, infographics, etc.

  • Utilize 3 rd party platform reporting and documentation to identify actionable insights to drive ongoing listing improvements
  • Engage with content creators and designers as needed on developing or updating product copy, images, videos, and other multimedia elements as needed to enhance product listings
  • Proactively monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer reviews to identify growth opportunities, make informed decisions, and implement strategies to drive sales conversion
  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing to build and deliver monthly and quarterly channel health presentations to track storefront performance

Advertising Coordination: Collaborate with Director of Marketing to oversee advertising campaigns on various eCommerce platforms including Display Ads, Sponsored Products, Promotions/Deals/Coupons, and other PPC campaigns (initial focus on Amazon, scope to broaden with experience)

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics; analyze and report on campaign effectiveness through traffic, acquisition, conversion, and return on marketing investment data
  • Provide feedback and strategy adjustment recommendations to meet or surpass budget goals and maximize ROI
  • Develop and execute a long term advertising and promotional roadmap to drive accelerated growth in reach, traffic, conversion, and overall campaign performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, and/or merchandising
  • 2+ years of experience working with digital platforms and online marketplaces with proven track record of content optimization, success in troubleshooting listing/account issues, and driving sales growth
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor and/or Seller Central required
  • Knowledge of eCommerce advertising platforms including Amazon sponsored products, sponsored brands, and PPC strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices
  • Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong time management skills and project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills used to exercise good judgment to determine multiple options and appropriate actions
  • Attention to detail with a focus on data integrity
