Forklift Operator
Adecco is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment and possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This is a first shift opportunity that pays $15 an hour.
Essential Functions:
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise and materials.
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift, such as inspecting brakes, oil levels, and fuel, and reporting any defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and hazardous materials from the forklift's path.
- Always adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for forklift operation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and operate a forklift in tight spaces.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
