Contents Processing Technician

ServiceMaster by RSI is seeking a motivated and reliable Contents Processing Technician for our contents processing department. This entry-level position is vital to ensuring the safe and efficient handling of customer property during the restoration process. The role involves packing, transporting, processing, and returning contents affected by fire, water, or other damage. This position provides extensive on-the-job training, with a focus on skill development and career growth over time.
Responsibilities:

• Inventory and pack contents from damaged properties.

• Safely transport items to the contents processing facility.

• Process, clean, and store contents using industry-standard techniques.

• Follow safety protocols in wet, cold, hot, dusty, dirty, and foul odor environments.

• Work off-site or in a processing facility as needed.

• Return processed contents to customer properties in an organized and timely manner.

• Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV record.

• Physical ability to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50-75 lbs.

• Comfortable working in variable conditions (wet, cold, hot, dusty, dirty, and foul odor environments).

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.

• Ability to follow written instructions.

• Reliable attendance, being on time to work and being fully present throughout the day.

• Willingness to participate in a 90-day probation period, with performance evaluated at the end of the period.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
