Plant Manager

Our client is looking for a Plant Manager to manage their growing food manufacturing and distribution facility in Brentwood, NY.

What you will do in this role:

• Provide oversite across the entire operation, including manufacturing, packaging, supply chain, logistics and purchasing.
• Act as Leader/Mentor to all management professionals, responsible for hiring, motivating, succession planning and ensuring staff engagement and retention.
• Providing clear direction and communication regarding priorities and expectations. Tracking performance using KPIs.
• Leading continuous improvement programs, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for capital and process improvements.
• Implementing and monitoring the companies Environmental Health and Safety program. Providing training to all staff.
• Participating in the development, implementation and management of the SQF, HACCP and other Food Safety and Quality Control programs.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in a senior leadership role within a food manufacturing operation.
• Knowledge of production, supply chain, logistics and quality assurance.
• A “boots on the ground” attitude with a focus on building a strong and efficient plant operation.
