Safety Director

The Safety Director will lead a safety team consisting of 2 safety managers and 5 safety officers. You will lead daily safety briefings, design, and update safety protocols and procedures. This role includes the potential to lead all training for the company's safety practices and conduct internal certification classes. Additionally, the position will involve community outreach and business development to assist with winning new projects and showcasing the company's strong track record of safety.

Hard Skills

1. Experience as lead safety manager on site for horizontal construction and utilities construction
2. OSHA 500 or OSHA 30 Certified
3. CHST certification
4. Experience in heavy civil, wet utility projects, and transmission distribution projects in the utility space
5. Communication; will help the company get more projects in the future

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lanham, Maryland.

Onsite early in the morning for safety briefings.
