St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Family Medicine to join Rensselaer Health Center located in Rensselaer, New York. This is an exciting opportunity to join an existing outpatient practice with strong patient demand and hospital affiliated practice support.
Job Description:
Open to 4-day or 5-day work week. 40 hours per week, 34 patient facing hours.
Call is 1 in every 13 weeks, weeklong call from Monday evening to the following Monday morning. Phone calls only, they never have to go in for anything. The amount of calls vary obviously during things like flu season, etc they are higher. Hard to gauge because it varies, and because the call schedule is shared amongst several offices it is less frequent, but you are taking calls for all the offices in the group.
Opportunities for hybrid work in the Hospitalist division or in continuing care may be available, if desired.
APP collaboration at practice site may provide additional source of compensation.
Opportunities for physician leadership/administrative work are available for those interested (SPHPMA & IHANY committees, JOCs, etc.).
Opportunities for teaching 1st year AMC students as well as precepting NP/PA students are plentiful within the medical group.
St. Peter s Rensselaer Health Center provides a full range of health care services for the entire family, including pediatric medicine for newborns through age 17: well-child visits (routine, school, sports, and camp physicals); immunizations; adolescent health; sick visits by appointment; ADHD care; and hospital / ER follow up.
Adult medicine services for established patients include routine care for illness, injury, and chronic medical conditions; preventive health and wellness screenings; routine immunizations and preventive inoculations; routine physicals (including employment, insurance, and school physicals); and sick visits by appointment.
This practice also offers refugee health assessments in conjunction with the New York State Department of Health. Clinical social workers are onsite for consultation, assessment, and referrals.
Open to upcoming 2025 graduates and recent graduates working toward BC
Not accepting Locums candidates
Open to H-1B visa candidates, but cannot accept J-1 waivers
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: and per year -- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
Relocation Allowance if applicable: The amount is determined by the distance they are moving from to the facility. It is a reimbursement-based system. Providers receive the amount in their contract, and they can submit receipts for reimbursement up to that amount.
