Network Administrator
TeamSoft IT Solution’s client is looking for a direct hire Network Administrator. This position is Onsite in Des Moines, IA. This direct hire position.
Network Administrator Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the installation, and maintenance of server hardware and software. The individual shall also be responsible for end-to-end infrastructure installation and support of LAN and WAN connectivity. The Network Administrator manages the distribution of data, reviews hardware and software systems compatibility, configures monitoring and auditing systems, and ensures logs and alerts are acted upon in support of the enterprise infrastructure. Providing technical guidance on the day-to-day administration, maintenance and operations for the company’s enterprise is also a key function of the position. This individual will work in a team environment and collaborate with developers, management, and end users.
- Administering and Maintaining of all servers, including virus protection, system updates and other 3rd party applications
- Administering and Maintaining External Security Appliances, including firewalls, spam protection, and web content filtering.
- Maintaining Virtual Environments in multiple data centers and cloud environments including VMC, AWS, Azure, etc.
- Maintaining Network Connectivity for LAN/WAN in various environments across various types of sites across the U.S. using site-to-site VPN technologies
- Configuring and maintaining remote access with VPN and Remote Desktop Gateway Services
- Configuring and maintaining load balancers and load balanced services
Network Administrator Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in an enterprise environment.
- Certifications in Microsoft Technology, Microsoft Server Administration, M365, AWS, Azure
- 3+ Years of experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools, such as Terraform.
- 2+ Scripting/Automation PowerShell Preferred
- Working knowledge of Agile
