Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 of those years recruiting engineers or other technical talent in a manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, facilitating interviewing, extending offers, and dispositioning candidates. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for developing and monitoring hiring strategies, including a strategy for hiring diverse candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for engineering positions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, developing and extending offers, and dispositioning candidates.
• Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies and best practices.
• Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and feedback.
• Talent Pipeline: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates for future hiring needs.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor hiring practices.
• Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize recruitment strategies.
• Hiring Strategies: Develop and implement effective hiring strategies to attract top engineering talent, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
• Diversity Hiring: Create and execute a strategy for hiring diverse candidates, ensuring that our recruitment practices promote an inclusive and equitable hiring process.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of in-house corporate Talent Acquisition experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of end-to-end in-house corporate recruiting engineers or other technical talent within a manufacturing environment; experience in chemical or petrochemical manufacturing a plus.
• Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated bias for action.
• Previous experience in a human resources client-facing role preferred.
• A track record of commitment to prior employers.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Talent Insights required.
• Proven experience developing and executing diverse recruiting strategies.
• Knowledge of Talent Acquisition compliance, including complex regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sourcing and networking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with candidates, HR partners and hiring managers.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software; experience with Success Factors preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to tell stories and develop strategy.
• Understanding of engineering roles and the manufacturing industry and demonstrated experience sourcing and hiring those roles.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Exceptional technical administrative skills, with proficiency in navigating and managing a variety of software programs and systems.
• Change management and project management experience, along with the ability to influence without direct authority.
