Job Description

As the Director of Sales Operations, you will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales organization. Leveraging advanced analytics and AI tools, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, systems, and best practices to streamline sales operations, enhance productivity, and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will spearhead processes to manage sales forecasting, territory planning, quota planning, sales process optimization, and resource allocation. This role will also be a meaningful and active member of building Technology and Data infrastructure to enable and empower the Sales Organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and market expansion.
  2. Sales forecasting: Develop AI predictive sales forecasting models and provide accurate revenue projections to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Data management: Lead sales data stewardship under our data governance program to ensure the accuracy of sales data including, but not limited to, customer account and pipeline data.
  4. Lead management: Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to ensure sales effectively executes the lead management strategy.
  5. Territory and capacity planning: Build and lead a repeatable process, leverage analytics and AI, to optimize territory design to increase revenue growth and sales efficiency.
  6. Quota planning: Build and lead a scalable, repeatable, and transparent process to ensure fair, timely, and documented quota setting.
  7. Sales cadences: Develop, publish, and lead consistent and rigorous sales operations rhythms including forecasting, account planning, deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.
  8. Sales performance & productivity reporting: Develop and implement systems to measure the performance of sales teams, including sales quotas, pipeline development, and individual sales rep performance metrics.
  9. Pipeline & proposal process management: Oversee the management of the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of opportunities through each stage of the sales process. Develop and implement standardized processes for proposal creation and management to streamline the sales cycle and improve win rates.
  10. Rules of engagement: Maintain, enforce, and arbitrate rules of engagement across sales teams to reduce complexity for our clients and execute consistently.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  2. Proven track record of success in sales operations leadership roles, preferably within a technology or professional services company.
  3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement sales strategies and processes that drive revenue growth.
  6. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales automation tools, and sales analytics platforms.
  7. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  8. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on coaching and developing talent.
  9. Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
