Overview

As the Corporate Controller, you will report to the CFO, and have the chance to build a global accounting infrastructure from the ground up. You’ll ensure our internal and external financial needs and systems are built for accuracy and integrity. You'll collaborate across departments, providing insightful analysis and guidance to fuel strategic initiatives for teams such as Sales, Capital Markets, Engineering, People, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the entire accounting function.
  • Manage financial audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for auditors and lead the month-end close process, delivering timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Build for global scale all accounting operations, and reporting functions capable of empowering informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial data and mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team on strategic planning, budgeting, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company as a Controller or Assistant Controller.
  • Proven track record of financial reporting, internal controls, and GAAP compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Previous exposure to lending and/or banking. Experience with loan accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and spreadsheets (Excel).
