Job Description

A varied role, as Mid-Senior Level Real Estate Litigation Attorney, you will:

  • Work on a range of sophisticated commercial, landlord-tenant, construction and residential real estate litigation matters - clients include landlords, developers, boards of directors and cooperative/ condominium managers.
  • Provide a versatile approach to litigation strategy/counsel, formulate legal strategy, provide guidance, argue in court, and make appearances, as well as provide meaningful initial drafts of motion papers.
  • Have good knowledge of state, federal and appellate court essential.
  • Provide a high level of service with a main focus on litigation, as well as negotiating and drafting contracts, sale of rights agreements, leases and property transfer documents.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Mid-Senior Level Real Estate Litigation Associate will have demonstrable experience:

  • Juris Doctor.
  • Admitted to practice in New York.
  • 7-12 years commercial real estate litigation experience.
  • Mature, team-spirited and customer-first approach.
  • Strong research and writing skills essential, experienced in taking depositions and drafting motion papers.
  • Candidates must be available to interview in mid-late September and be entitled to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future).

  • Base salary: c. $220,000 - $250,000 PA (depending on experience).
