Overview
Looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support the Transaction Actuals (TRACT) program. We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst who has a strong technical background and the ability to interact with both business and IT teams as we define and deliver the capabilities of the technical solutions. They should have an understanding of the SDLC process and experience working in a regulated organization where development is documented and approved.
The Technical Business Analyst will collaborate with team members from a variety of specialties (engineering, architectural, data) and from several teams so they need to be able to coordinate the work and keep the project on track. The ideal candidate should be someone who is able to start quickly, joining an existing effort and assessing a large amount of information. They should be comfortable distilling that information down into clear, concise requirements. They should be able to create technical diagrams and documentation to assist in the definition and delivery of the solution. The analyst should be someone who enjoys understanding both the business and technical sides of an application and understands how one supports the other. The resource should have excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization. They will be required to have strong negotiation skills and the ability to identify solutions as challenges arise. They will need to manage the delivery scope and timeline and ensure we are delivering the appropriate solution for both the IT and Business organizations.
Projects
- Implemented prices vs Pricing approval optimized control (Discovery Effort)
- Understand the opportunities, challenges and limitations for automated validation of pricing conditions in COMET vs GMAX approved pricing (and GtN)
- Develop Proof of Concept for more simple scenarios (list price conditions) for automated validation of COMET pricing vs PAR approval
- TENDER1-COMET Automation for Quantity Contracts Phase 2 (Experimentation Effort)
- To understand whether and to what extent it is possible to prefill automatically the COMET Quantity Contract Appian template directly from TENDER1, incl. understanding of (a) the critical success factors, (b) the challenges and gaps preventing the automated prefilling of data, (c) which fields in COMET Quantity Contracts cannot be prepopulated from TENDER1
- A deliverable of the project is a future-state process (covering all process variations), incl. data flow and system considerations and an implementation roadmap
- Segmented Actuals
- Long-term intent of the EPIC: develop a capability to provide segmented actuals, where the definition of the various segments might vary across brands, based on brand strategies. There is high dependency on COMET data.
- Short-term intent of the EPIC: provide segmented actuals for Vaccines, as per ETM requirements. Vaccine actuals sales should be reported into 3 segments: tender, public reimbursed and private segments. This segmentation is in line with the vaccine's strategies, done on segment level.
- The solution we move forward with in this EPIC should be delivering on the short-term intent with the long-term intent in mind. When developing the solution, we need to think-through multiple options for long-term COMET data development (TRACT project).
- Tender Performance
- The purpose of the EPIC is to define and implement a solution to report actual performance per tender vs plan (as in business case in Tender1). This includes the following components:
- a) the ability to report on individual tender outcomes as in COMET - via an on-demand dashboard. A proof of concept has confirmed that we can report on tender performance, as long as the tender is booked with a Quantity Contract or a Sales Deal.
- b) the ability to 'link' a record from Tender1 to COMET to report on plan vs actual. (There is currently no envisioned approach for this).
- c) a dashboard as integrated visualization of a) and b) above.
