Job Description

1. Meet the sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
2. Solicit groups and banquet business through action plan preparation and execution.
3. Establish quotes based on group pricing strategy, confirming by written contracts.
4. Manage RFP inquiries through Lanyon, Cvent and Meeting Broker platforms.
5. Maintain accounts, contact, activity and business details within Anais.
6. Work closely with the Catering & Conference Service Department to ensure all details of the contract were delivered and guests depart satisfied.
7. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required.
8. Balance operational, administrative and heartist needs.
9. Follow departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

1. Previous hotel experience is required.
2. Hotel sales experience and established contacts with government entities and local and global DMC's & corporate accounts required.
3. Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required.
4. University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
6. Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
7. Highly accountable and reliable.
8. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
