Join our practice for the opportunity to learn and build a rewarding career. Positions will involve design and technical aspects of projects of varying sizes and complexity, with a focus on the rehabilitation of public housing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple projects
  • Developing project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans
  • Client coordination
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • Surveying and evaluating existing conditions
  • Developing project scope
  • Production of design studies
  • Evaluating design alternatives
  • Production of construction drawings and specifications
  • Consultant coordination
  • Materials research
  • Reviewing cost estimates
  • Quality control, constructability, and cost estimate review
  • Construction administration
  • Securing agency approvals

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
  • Completion of a five or six-year architectural degree program
  • Motivated, well organized, self-starter eager to learn and share
  • Ability to effectively multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of existing building renovation and new construction
  • Experience with field investigation and documentation of existing conditions
  • Strong Construction Document experience including detailing and specifications
  • Experience with consultant and client coordination
  • Experience with Construction Administration
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong AutoCAD skills, Revit experience a plus
  • Experience working with public agencies (NYCHA, DASNY, SCA, etc.) a plus
