Inside Sales Analyst - Onsite role

It may be called Sales Analyst, but people also call it sales support, sales assistant. We will train the right candidate if needed. Not a heavy sales role, but BIG support to the sales team.
Within our organization, the inside sales department supports sales representatives who are located throughout the United States. As an inside sales analyst, we work closely with the outside sales representative and their customers. Responsibilities include managing contracts, quoting rates, and reserving allocation on vessels. We are a point of contact for customers when they have questions or issues relating to their contract, and we work closely with other departments internally to ensure that our customers are supported and have a quality experience while doing business with OOCL.

Sales Analyst Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be able to function in MS Office, especially Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Planning, prioritizing, and multitasking
Sale Analyst Position Responsibilities (what is the job?):
  1. Assist with contract maintenance and renewals.
  2. Qualify and process requests for spot quotes, trade offered rates, and bids.
  3. Apply problem solving skills, Service Contract knowledge.
  4. Answer and qualify customer inquiries related to rates and service offerings.
  5. Direct customers to appropriate department as needed.
  6. Collaborate onboarding activities with outside sales.
