The Vice President, Operations is responsible for directing and coordinating the operational activities of the company to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, maximizing profitability and ensuring excellent service delivery. This role involves managing multiple departments, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

Essential Duties

  1. Develop and execute the operations strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives.
  2. Collaborate with the executive team to drive continuous improvement and innovation in operational processes.
  3. Implement best practices to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational performance.
  5. Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  6. Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Establish and implement policies, processes, and standards to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational workflows and procedures.
  9. Implement systems and technologies to streamline operations and enhance data-driven decision-making.
  10. Establish and oversee quality management systems to drive continuous improvement in product/service quality.
  11. Identify and mitigate operational risks through proactive planning and execution.
  12. Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure business continuity.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

  3. Ability to confidently present to hospital executives, physicians, and any other hospital or company stakeholder
  4. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  5. Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  6. Ability to navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Experience

  1. Proven track record of successful leadership in a similar operations role.
  2. Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements and achieving operational efficiency.

Proximity to a major airport and ability to travel is required. Preference will be given to candidates located in Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Dallas, TX or Houston, TX.
