Inventory Controller

IntePros is seeking an Inventory Controller to join our client in Knoxville, TN, for a Inventory Controller.

• Location: Knoxville, TN
• Pay Rate: $18.75/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, supplies, specimens, and equipment.
• Utilize computer systems or programs for tasks such as logging, tracking, and managing shipments, and perform internet searches or telephone follow-ups as needed.
• Receive materials, supplies, and specimens from delivery services, and document receipts on appropriate logs. Unpack and reconcile shipments against packing lists.
• Troubleshoot and resolve in-bound and out-bound sample shipment delays.
• Organize materials and specimens in the appropriate storage areas, inspect stocks, and ensure security and accountability of inventory.
• Prepare materials for shipment to other locations and maintain shipping records.
• Follow all safety regulations, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies, and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as lab coats, face shields, and gloves, where required.
• Maintain the facility, including the laboratory, grounds, and parking areas, according to company standards and SOPs. Complete maintenance tasks and utilize facility-related systems for repairs and security.
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and safety protocols.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly as part of daily tasks.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Regularly walk, stand, squat, and bend while carrying out tasks.
• Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment frequently.
• Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
