Job Description
JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for qualifying Sears Home Services to perform delivery, installation, repair, and service within a specific jurisdiction.
JOB SUMMARY:
The License Qualifier is responsible for obtaining, holding, and maintaining the appropriate State and Municipal license(s), and ensuring that Sears Home Services, its subsidiaries, and its affiliate businesses (Sears) are qualified under and in compliance with any and all applicable State and Municipal licensing statutes and ordinances.
Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains the license(s) required by Sears Home Services (SHS) in order for SHS to engage in the business the license covers, including, but not limited to providing copies of all licenses held and ensuring personal demographic information is accurate at all times
• Ensures Sears remains in compliance with any and all applicable statutes and ordinances pertaining to Sears
• Takes responsibility for all services provided by a Sears Authorized Contractor or Service Technician, and for any act of anyone in SHS that causes the applicable regulatory authorities to bring disciplinary action against the License Qualifier
• Meets with regulatory board members and licensing authorities as required
• Maintains State registration requirements with regulatory authorities as applicable
• Provides SHS copies of all correspondence between any regulatory agency and themselves that involve SHS
• Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5-10 years of related experience
• License/certification in relevant field
• Up to 25% travel
• 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Mechanical License
• Ability to maintain a high sense of urgency and focus on customer service
• Good communication, training and presentation skills
• Ability to approach business and compliance issues with enthusiasm, recognizing the potential for growth in both profit and revenue, as well as limiting the liability for Sears
• Valid Driver License for the State of employment if required by law
