As a Social Worker at The Allure Group, you would be part of awinning team doing meaningful work to improve the quality of life, health, andcomfort of residents.
Social Worker Responsibilities
• Ensurethat the medical, social, and emotional needs of each resident are provided for
• Worktogether with other staff to identify potential difficulties for residents
• Serveas a resident advocate
• Providecrisis intervention, counseling, or other services to residents and families
• Assistnew residents and families in the initial adjustment phase
• Workwith residents and families on planning discharges
• Actas a liaison to Federal, State, and local agencies providing service to theresident community
• Maintaina productive working relationship with other department supervisors
• Coordinatesocial services to assure the daily social services can be adequately provided
Social Worker Requirements
• Bachelor'sdegree in Social Work
Preferred
• Previousexperience in a supervisory capacity in a skilled nursing facility
