Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Urgent Care in Austin, TX

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Locum Tenens Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Austin, Texas.  In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, including those as young as 3 months old. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, diagnosing and treating a range of urgent medical conditions, and managing patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work within clinics that operate Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Patient volume may range from 35-40 per day during a 12-hour shift in some clinics. Flexibility to float between various clinics within the Austin market is required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency room or urgent care settings; 3-6 years of experience in urgent care, family medicine, and pediatrics preferred.
• DOT certification preferred.
• Ability to work with pediatric patients from 3 months old and up.
• Proficiency in using Practice Velocity EMR system.
