Job Requirements / Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and verify invoices and check requests.
  • Sort, code, and match invoices.
  • Set up invoices for payment and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to address inquiries.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
