Business Analyst/Project Manager

Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a leading university in search of a Business Analyst/Project Manager to implement and assess their strategic plan.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Strategic Plan Initiatives
• Project Management: Manage cross-functional projects aligned with the university's strategic plan
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather information, analyze data, and conduct research to inform strategic decision-making. Create compelling reports and presentations to communicate progress to university leadership and stakeholders
• Communication and Collaboration: Proactively engage with internal and external contacts, providing regular status updates and collaborating with the Office of University Communications to craft impactful content for various channels
• Strategic Plan Website Management
• Content Accuracy and Currency: Oversee the content of the university's strategic plan website, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate for internal and external audiences
• Data Visualization: Design interactive graphics that effectively present structured and unstructured data on the website and in reports
• Data Management and Dissemination
• Data Requests: Handle data requests from various audiences, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of related work experience
• Proven ability to apply project management principles and tools to complete projects (preferred: PMP certification)
• Experience building data visualizations including dashboards, metrics, and charts using tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Strong data manipulation skills using tools like Excel and SQL Server
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
