PRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Financial Analyst for the Accounting department. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.
The Financial/Accounting Analyst supports accounting and manufacturing operations by performing functions such as costs variance analysis, recommending improvements, invoicing, account reconciliations, AR collection, Inventory analysis and controls, financial statement preparations and etc utilizing EPICOR ERP software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for the general ledger as well as the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets (account analysis), reports to Directors and Officers, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
• Owns operating margin analysis/reports and variance accounts.
• Assist/leads process of monitoring and policing manufacturing operations job clocking, shrinkage, etc.
• Leadership in Margin Improvement Programs
• Determine most economical billing options for expenses such as gas, electric, phone, etc.
• Monitor all company expenses to identify cost savings opportunities.
• Administer corporate credit card program.
• Maintains 14-week cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable to ensure the accurate and timely management of aging tracking, billings; cash receipts application (correct application to GL; customer account).
• Complete new customer credit reviews
• Responsible for evaluating and recommending customer account/terms for new and existing customers
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance. A Minor in IT could be a strong differentiator for the final candidate.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on managerial accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, reconciliations.
• Strong costs/operating analysis skills.
• Ability to persuade and get others outside your area of responsibility to do what you want them to do.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Excellent ERP, Excel and power point skills. Power BI and automated company metrics/analytics.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: CPA preferred, but not required
