Position Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst - Crew Movement and Logistics will work under the direction of the Senior Manager, HR Business Products, supporting our Human Resources business function and Centers of Excellence. You will partner with HR stakeholders to recommend and implement technologies to enhance processes and remove redundancies or manual work. Your expertise in HR technology, coupled with your analytical mindset, will drive efficiencies, and enable us to leverage the full potential of our HR technology stack.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into documented functional specifications.
- Liaise with managers and clients to define requirements, scopes, and objectives that align with organizational goals.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics.
- Drive process standardization and compliance and process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure a common understanding of project goals and timelines.
- Manage, monitor, and track small to medium scope project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Define UAT test cases and execute testing.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, empowering them to use HR technologies effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the exploration, evaluation, recommendation, and design of new tools, features, and functionalities.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a business-related field.
- Three years of hands-on experience working with HR Technologies.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing.
- Familiarity with SAP HCM modules is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Functional understanding of HRIS design, structure, data, and processes.
