HF Sinclair is seeking an IT Audit and Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring enterprise compliance with adopted frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements. The team will act primarily as the 2ndline in the 3 lines of defense model.
Job DutiesAssists IT teams throughout internal and external audits and reviews of systems, applications and IT processes
Participates in key SOX controls for IT including user access reviews and termination reviews.
Assists in pre and post- implementation reviews of system implementations or enhancements for controls readiness and design, implement or remediate the processes as necessary.
Participates in IT security reviews (e.g. network, operating system and data center), including evaluating, identifying, and mitigating possible security vulnerabilities and coordinates the scope and performance of these reviews with IT Leadership
Participates in evaluations and testing of IT compliance with existing controls and provides value added feedback.
Maintains the IT enterprise policy library, including document creation and periodic review.
Performs various reviews of IT drills and exercises such as penetration tests, business continuity planning/ disaster recovery tests and incident response and assist in remediation where applicable
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with an IT background is required. Prior position in IT Governance/IT Audit internal audit or external auditing firm. Progressive achievement in one or more of the traditional IT disciplines (applications, operations, infrastructure, and management).
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with IT Operations. Understanding of multiple technology domains including software development, server management, database management, and networking. Technology or risk certification preferred e.g.; CISA, Security +, CGEIT etc.
Education LevelA minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Accounting is required.
Required SkillsUnderstanding of IT general controls, SOX audits, and policy management. Ability to research and gather information from both business and IT functions, strong presentation, verbal and written communication, and ability to work on and manage multiple projects and responsibilities effectively.
