Position: Junior Associate Attorney in Training (80% Remote)
Location: Remote (Occasional in-office meetings in Fort Lauderdale, FL, or Jacksonville, FL)
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Attorney Team Lead
Compensation: Base salary of $50,000 - $65,000, with the potential to earn six figures through performance-based bonuses

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Associate Attorney (0-2 years' experience) who is passionate about consumer rights and eager to grow in a high-volume, fast-paced legal environment. As alicensed attorney , you will handle substantive legal tasks and develop expertise in consumer protection law while supporting the legal team in managing client cases. The position is performance-driven, offering significant earning potential for motivated attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction:
    • Conduct high-volume outbound and inbound calls with prospective clients.
    • Engage in substantive conversations to assess client needs and explain our legal services.
    • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements under supervision.
  • Case Management Support:
    • Assist with the intake and onboarding of new clients.
    • Collect and organize necessary documentation for legal cases.
  • Legal Support:
    • Conduct legal research and draft documents as needed.
    • Participate in pre-litigation conferences and negotiations with opposing parties.
    • Represent clients in negotiations under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Licensed attorney (active bar membership required).
    • Prior legal experience in a high-volume defense or plaintiff's firm is highly preferred.
    • Comfortable with phone-based communication and negotiation.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation abilities involving financial discussions.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attributes:
    • Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
    • Proactive learner with a desire to develop legal skills.
