Cloud Proficiency:

Utilize GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Workflows.

Understand cloud-native architectures to design effective solutions.

Work with data integration tools such as Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) and Dataflow.

Programming and Infrastructure Management:

Proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL, as well as Terraform, CI/CD processes, and Git flows.

Data Modeling and ETL Processes:

Design robust data models and develop efficient ETL processes, ensuring data quality and consistency.

Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor data pipelines and GCP resources using Stackdriver (Google Cloud Operations Suite), optimizing for performance and cost.

Problem-Solving/Debugging Skills:

Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve production issues, including log reviews and collaboration with networking, security, IAM, and DBAs.

Communication Skills:

Collaborate effectively with global teams, documenting practices clearly and conveying technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Automation:

Automate routine data processing tasks using scripts and GCP tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering.

Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services.

Proficient in data integration and transformation tools.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
