Job Summary

Collaborates with functional users to streamline business processes through the introduction of automated solutions in PantherSoft HR. Coordinates with technical resources to develop and implement solutions; assists in the testing of new system updates and custom processes. Main responsibility consists on the processing of all jobs and procedures that provide production support on an on-going basis.

  • Assists with the coordination, administration, planning, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications and systems.
  • Collaborates, consults and finds solutions with users to further develop the automation based on user needs and business practices for both the Division of Human Resources and the Division of Student Access and Success.
  • Develops queries for end users as necessary.
  • Tests system updates and upgrades for accuracy and correctness.
  • Assists in the preparation of training materials and tutorials for users in the unit.
  • Troubleshoots issues with existing or developed systems, and works with the appropriate resources to resolve them.
  • Resolves concerns with software functionality; resolves technical and complex system concerns.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors appropriate quality measurement mechanisms for enterprise applications operation and support.
  • Maintains the security/confidentiality of internal documents in electronic format, user data, programs, applications and documentation.
  • Assists with all Production related processes on a bi-weekly basis such as vendor interface file creation, vendor files analysis, and outbound files processing. As well as all production support requests on a daily basis.
  • Serves as primary contact for Conflict of Interest application support and development.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for all ImageNow related issues/requests.
  • Analyzes, designs and creates specifications for PeopleSoft application functionality and/or requirements.
  • Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves PeopleSoft system related problems and errors to ensure the accuracy of business critical processes.
  • Provides production support including problem analysis and resolution, on call support, job scheduling, monitoring, tuning, and end-user support.
  • Interacts with database administrators, security analysts, developers and business system users. Coordinates with vendors when necessary to resolve issues.
  • Acts as designated HRIS Lead for the Base Benefits Module.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field and three (3) years of experience in HRIS or related field.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of designing, developing, and reporting experience with ERP HR systems (e.g. Peoplesoft, Workday, SAP).
