Job Summary
- Maintains warehouse inventory database and checks in/checks out various items, including but not limited to tools.
- Records distribution of materials moving in and out of the warehouse per company policies and procedures.
- Delivers material/equipment utilizing trucks with or without tow trailers in surrounding local territories.
- Ensures all paperwork is completed timely and correctly and recorded per company policies and procedures, including but not limited to material transfer sheets, returns, shipping documents, packing slips, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
- Operates, maintains, and repairs basic warehouse equipment/tools, and obtains operation certificates as required for heavy material equipment such as forklifts.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of warehouse supervision experience; electrical construction warehouse experience is a plus.
- 1 year of experience operating forklifts.
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license; B-Class license is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills and MS-Office (Excel, Word) experience.
- Ability to operate trucks with tow trailers up to 30' in length.
- Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks per company safety policy.
- Ability to pass DOT physical exam and DOT drug test as required.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) DOT physical exam and drug test.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) background check and MVR check.
