Volanté is seeking an ambitious Director of Sales to join our dynamic, problem-solving focused team. The ideal candidate is experienced in B2B sales with a focus on growing existing business and developing new channel business – you are able to sell on value, build trust, and deliver solutions-oriented results for our clients and prospects. Reporting into the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Travel will also be required as you will be liaising with clients and prospects across North America.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Devise a Sales strategy for target segments you will be selling into
- Participate in the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, conduct in-depth product demonstrations of our hardware and software solutions
- Prospect for new business using methods such as cold calling, face to face meetings, social networking and attending conferences
- Qualify leads against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
- Establish and maintain sustained relationships with new customers and secure contracts which achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
- Identify and develop channel and multi-unit operational business
- Visit clients to discuss their needs in order to sell Volante’s software and demonstrate our value proposition
- Participate in product demonstrations and presentations to senior management
- Become a champion of our product by acquiring thorough knowledge of the product and the industry
- Draft and deliver proposals through Proposify and other docusign software
- Work with all departments of the organization where required, to address customer requirements
- Be accountable for personal and team sales goals, report on sales activities and KPI’s
- Work with the company’s CRM (Hubspot) to effectively manage and maintain all sales notes and customer interactions
- Work with Zoho CRM to build quotes
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute lead generation campaigns
- Provide feedback on ways to decrease the sales cycle, increase sales, and improve company brand and reputation
- Be an ambassador of the company and its brand in the marketplace
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years proven B2B sales experience in the software industry
- Previous experience in at least a mid-level Sales Executive managing and growing client relationships
- Strong customer service orientation and client facing experience
- Excellent communications skills – both in verbal and written correspondence
- Demonstrated success in a fast paced, quota driven environment
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally when interacting with internal and external members of the organization at all levels
- Strong presentation skills
- Post secondary education, preferably a Bachelor’s degree or higher
