Our client is looking for someone who has taken charge of the full cycle recruitment process for a law firm or another organization hiring recent law school graduates.
The Legal Recruiter will implement and manage the firm's law school recruiting strategy, including overseeing the summer associate program, on-campus interviewing process, student engagement and recruitment events. This individual will work closely with the Senior Manager to drive the recruitment process with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Legal Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with career service offices and student groups at target law schools
- Organize and participate in both in-person and virtual law student events
- Manage the on-campus interview process, including resume reviews, scheduling and attorney participation
- Coordinate all aspects of the summer associate program, including training, events, evaluations and logistics
- Participate in the development and execution of diversity pipeline programs at the law student level
- Partner with the marketing team to maintain recruiting materials
- Utilize the firm's recruitment tools to maintain accurate records and ensure policy compliance
Legal Recruiter Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of recruiting experience, with 2+ years in campus recruiting
- Experience in a law firm highly preferred, or at least at a company that recruited law school graduates
- Excellent communication, organizational and client service skills
- Ability to travel and work occasional overtime
