Senior Staff Accountant

Amtec is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to work for an Aerospace manufacturer located in Anaheim, CA. The Senior Staff Accountant will support the accounting department, working with multiple customers, with a daily focus on AR functions. This role requires occasional late hours, especially at month-end.

Qualifications

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience in aerospace technology, electronics engineering, or manufacturing is a must.
2. Heavy AR experience.
3. Comfortable with customer interface and internal communications with Project Managers.
4. Advanced Excel skills are required; working knowledge of Manex (customer ERP for electronic manufacturing) would be a huge plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Invoicing/Billing/Collection/Filing.
2. Provide assistance to the Controller & CFO on:
1. General Ledger Reconciliations.
2. Journal Entries.
3. Bank Reconciliations.
4. Audit Research Requests.
5. Reporting.
3. Work with Program Managers/Shipping Department and customers on:
1. Maintaining associated logs and preparing associated reports.
2. Researching history when required.
3. Maintaining open communication regarding pricing issues, RMAs, and collections.
4. Ability to multi-task.
