Our client in the logistics industry is looking to bring on a full time Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in delivering daily support to the Sales & Marketing Team.

This is a full time role based on site at their office in San Francisco.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Logistics

  1. Check, negotiate ocean freight rate with carrier and compare.
  2. Arrange shipments from point A to point B, internationally and domestically from beginning to end.
  3. Coordinate with vendor, buyer, freight forwarder on shipment.
  4. Coordinate trucking.
  5. Complete shipping document with shipping line.
  6. Keep accurate records of each shipment.
  7. Track leads and coordinate equipment deliveries.
  8. Coordinate incoming orders and ensure accurate processing.
  9. Resolve and respond to partner issues during onboarding and order phases.

Sales

  1. Collaborate with the team on sales strategies, and assist with sales quotes, proposals and managing customer accounts.
  2. Process telephone calls and relay messages accordingly.
  3. Record and Track Sales Data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BA / BS Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Mgmt., or related field.
  2. Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  3. Excellent planning and organizational skills, with an ability to see the big picture.
  4. Experience with MS Excel a plus.
  5. Ability to build rapport with clients.
  6. Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  7. Positive and professional demeanor.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
