As a CI Specialist reporting to the Continuous Improvement Program Manager, you will lead the execution of manufacturing excellence projects of low complexity within a site to embed best practices, reinforce a continuous improvement mindset and streamline non-value added activities.

Responsibilities:

Strategy design and execution

  • Contribute to the design of the local manufacturing excellence strategy and deployment plans for the assigned site-based on global OPEX strategy.
  • Design and execute related projects to meet local Operations goals.

Lean management

  • Identify improvements opportunities together with site Operations teams, and use best tools/methods from the Lean toolbox to develop solutions and execute these.
  • Leverage internal and external Lean network to capture and eventually deploy best practices.

Project management

  • Design and propose OPEX projects for implementation.
  • Execute approved OPEX projects, monitoring resource plans, project team accountabilities, change requests, deadlines, milestones, and providing periodic updates to project stakeholders.
  • Coach project teams on applying Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools during solution design and project execution phases.

Change management and capability building

  • Support project managers in developing change management roadmaps and related communication strategies.
  • Challenge existing processes and coach project teams in applying problem solving to develop solutions and initiate change.
  • Train site Operations teams on Lean principles to close capability gaps and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Performance management

  • Help implement performance management system (PMS) for the site and cascade its KPIs.
  • Help implement all OPEX standards.

Your professional profile requires:

  • University degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master preferred)
  • LEAN certification preferred
  • Project management certification.
  • Overall work experience of 1 to 2 years in similar roles.
  • General knowledge of product processing and industrialization processes.
  • Good command in project management using TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools.
  • Good command in stakeholder management and communications.
  • Knowledge of process mapping and design.
  • General knowledge of value chain diagnostics tools.
  • Knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
  • General knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).
