Job Summary

We are seeking a creative individual to elevate our content production function for our Xfinity products and services. This role will be based in New York City and be the head of the Content Production group. This group produces creative content for all channels including TV, digital, social, radio, in-store, print as well as extensive video production for various online and in-house needs. This is a unique opportunity to continue to build a strong production department within a Fortune 50 company with an award-winning brand and culture.

As Head of Content Production, you will oversee and execute all projects to a high creative standard. You will be charged with problem solving and leading innovative production strategy designed to navigate the current social, mobile and digital landscape.

Job Description

Most Days You:

  • Oversee and produce work in an innovative way that enables ideas to thrive.
  • Stay current on production partners that work with the agency’s model of being agile and cost effective, as well as delivering on creative excellence.
  • Establish strong relationships with various members of our creative, account and production teams.
  • Work with teams to elevate the creative expectations of Marcom.
  • Act as key point of contact for the client while in production. Show leadership, professionalism and sensitivity in dealing with Marcom, while understanding the business problems we are solving for them.
  • Work in tandem with outside cost consultant on larger budget productions to ensure the best value.
  • Work closely with Business Affairs and outside third party to manage talent usage, rights and other clearances.
  • Work closely with creatives from external agencies to bring their vision to life. Both overseeing and producing in this capacity.
  • Seek production solutions that support the larger agency vision, financial objectives and creative needs.
  • Investing in and creating opportunities for emerging production talent both at the agency and within the industry, understanding that diversity and inclusion is expected. This initiative includes mentoring, training and reviewing a team of producers, in addition to recruiting and interviewing candidates.
  • Strong grasp on the international production landscape and utilizing this to bring greater efficiency and creative excellence.
  • Establish and live the Xfinity brand guidelines as it pertains to live action production, CGI, brand tone and voice.

You Bring:

  • 20+ years experience in production, required
  • Highly organized team leader, can both mentor and train
  • Solid expertise in partnering and developing relationships with non-traditional production vendors (experiential marketing, PR and Celebrity marketing firms, event marketing, etc.)
  • Strong grasp of production strategies and able to modify and apply
  • Knowledge of existing & new content platforms constantly evolving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task in a high-pressure work environment
  • Natural born leader

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $215,055.37 - $322,583.05

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Additionally, Comcast provides best-in-class Benefits to eligible employees.

Education

Bachelor's Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
