As a Software Engineer on the Tempus Next Cardio team , you will work on solutions to develop and release AI-enabled software to production with the goal of identifying patients with gaps in the clinical care.
Why We’re Looking For You
- You have 3 or more years of hands-on software development experience in Python
- You like writing performant and maintainable software
- You enjoy collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team of product managers, data scientists, and engineers, and are comfortable interfacing with other teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus Points For
- Experience developing medical device software
- Experience with deploying machine learning models
- Experience working with data, writing SQL, and developing data ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with Docker, AWS, GCP, Terraform
- Experience working with web frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI, and with API design and development
- Experience working with structured and unstructured clinical data in cardiology
- Hands-on experience working with Javascript or Typescript
