POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists Community First Health Plan (CFHP) members in regaining optimum health or improved functional capacity by ensuring that members have access to health care services they need in the most efficient and effective manner possible as it relates specifically to Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: overseeing the allocation of resources, cost and quality of health care for members; coordinating care between the primary care physician, community resources, family and member; coordinating care across the health care continuum while monitoring and managing benefit utilization; and, collaborating with multi-disciplinary health care team members in identifying the behavioral health and educational needs of members. Additionally, the ABA Therapist will lead the training and network management support for Service Coordinators, Case Managers, Network Management Representatives and CFHP contracted ABA therapy providers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or equivalent Master's Degree in psychology, etc. plus 3 years of professional experience is required in outpatient or inpatient/residential setting. Pediatric experience is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Unrestricted Board Certified Behavior Analyst license is required. If this credential is not in place at the time of hire, it must be obtained within 24 months of accepting the position.
