Director of Quality (Industrial Equipment)

Job Description

1. Implementation and management of the Quality Program.
2. Successful completion of audits from regulators, certifying organizations, and customers.
3. Participates in vendor audits as required.
4. Qualification of Quality Control inspectors.
5. Qualification of Quality Assurance personnel.
6. Prepares the company for renewal of ASME certificates on a triennial basis.
7. Functions as the Authorized Nuclear Inspector interface with the company.
8. Reviews the applicable ASME B&PV Code Sections, revises the QA Manual and implements changes as necessary.
9. Reports on a regular basis to the company President on the status and adequacy of the QA program.

Experience Required

1. 10 years of work experience in a Quality Assurance role
2. Commercial Nuclear audit experience with Lead Auditor qualification preferred.
3. ASME B&PV Code experience with Section III (Division 1 preferred)
4. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Auditor, or Manager of Quality preferred.
5. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.
6. Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Collaborative, detail oriented, organized and highly motivated.
