Work Environment
The primary work environment is office-based with low noise, including using standard office equipment while sitting or standing. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The candidate will need to stoop, bend, and, at times, lift up to 50 lbs. Some local travel is required, as well as long work hours during high-stress periods.

Description
The Human Resources Director of Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin (OAW) will create, implement, lead, and manage all human resources (HR) operations and functions cost-effectively, efficiently, and smoothly to bring the utmost value to OAW. This role develops HR strategies and solutions while providing sound advice to all employees, providers, and senior leaders. The Director uses a strategic mindset to ensure that all HR initiatives align with business objectives while also delivering human resources results at the day-to-day tactical level.
Requirements
- Develop, deliver, and lead strategies, solutions, and initiatives to address all HR areas such as talent acquisition, succession planning, compensation, benefits, employment law compliance, training, performance management, employee relations and engagement, HR technology, DEI, supplier management, etc.
- Implement HR metrics, results, systems, and frameworks for all HR functions
- Create and manage the HR budget, including compensation and benefits expenses
- Lead and mentor others to successfully deliver HR-initiated solutions, e.g., performance evaluations
- Handle all employee relations issues while training leaders on best practices
- Resolve complaints and reduce litigation risk
- Share HR metrics, trends, best practices, etc. with management; analyze relevant data
- Ensure coordination, collaboration, and consistency between leaders to promote successful, unbiased, and comprehensive handling of HR issues
- Provide excellent services to employees, suppliers, patients, leaders, team members, providers, and all stakeholders
- Support business growth by partnering with leaders to learn and meet HR needs

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related field
- Five or more years in a broad HR leadership role, including getting results through others by coaching, evaluating, and mentoring them
- Experience creating, implementing, and managing strategic and tactical human resources functions/teams that handle the entire employee lifecycle while ensuring legal compliance
- Three years of experience in a health care or multi-site organization preferred
- History of developing and maintaining meaningful relationships while introducing change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
