B&A is looking for a Learning Architect/Trainer to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts analyses and recommends deployable learning solutions.
  • Creates strategic direction for the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions for learning.
  • Develops learning architectures for roles by determining what learning assets contribute to development in a role, sequencing the assets, and mapping the assets to a timeline.
  • Utilizes desktop tools and multimedia design tools to develop learning solutions.
  • Serves as lead instructor for all training support related to recruiting systems.
  • Analyzes training programs and makes recommendations to improve the program.
  • Leads development and maintenance of program-related training plans.
  • Responsible for the overall development of instructional curriculum, including curriculum/course outlines, presentations, handouts, and visual aids.
  • Coordinates with subject matter experts to ensure that prepared courses meet stated objectives.
  • Coordinates training events, monitors registration, and delivers training via live webinars and onsite instruction.
  • Maintains training evaluation feedback and identifies training improvements.
  • Updates training plans and curriculum as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Experience with ADDIE Methodology.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Communications, Social Sciences, Computer science/systems, Information technology, Software Engineering, Business Management, or Finance.
  • This position requires 4+ years of intensive or progressive experience in the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions for learning.
  • Specialized experience in curriculum development, instructional design, development and maintenance of training plans, training delivery through web-based and onsite training courses, and management of a training program.

Required Skills

  • Experience developing and delivering technical training content in various formats, including e-learning, classroom, and virtual training sessions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), including uploading and tracking training content, creating reports, and managing user accounts.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with government agencies.
  • Experience with Blackboard and Captivate.
  • Experience with SCORM-compliant e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience with virtual training platforms, such as Zoom or WebEx.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Familiarity with technical topics, such as software development, cybersecurity, or systems engineering.

Security Clearance

  • Eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
