The Sales Training and Development Administrator must thrive in a high cross-functional matrix organization to support the needs of our commercial sales team, partnering with sales leadership, marketing, sales team, medical affairs, legal, compliance, and HR business partners. As the Sales Training and Development Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of all training initiatives within the Sales Training and Development department. You will provide essential administrative support to the Director of Sales Training and Development and assist in managing training coordination, content systems, and departmental coordination. This position requires a person who can not only execute tasks efficiently but also anticipate the needs of the team, offering solutions that enhance the training process. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Oversight: Efficiently manage the daily administrative operations of the Sales Training and Development department.
  2. Training Event Support: Coordinate and handle training logistics, events and managing new hire and advanced training participant logistics, preparing materials, organizing venues, and ensuring timely delivery of training resources.
  3. Learning Management System Administration: Update and maintain the LMS, tracking participant enrollment, progress, and completion of training modules. Generate reports and provide insights to optimize program efficiency.
  4. Data Management: Maintain and update training records, budget (Training Initiatives vs. National Events), ensuring accurate and timely reporting of training outcomes and impact measured by program evaluations and surveys. Familiarity with The Four Levels of Evaluation to measure baseline and post-training outcomes for advanced analytics and training ROI.
  5. Reporting and Analytics: Compile and present data from training evaluations and help measure success and impact of programs, as well as areas for improvement.
  6. Resource Management: Assist with content curation and content management, ensuring all training materials are up-to-date and easily accessible for both virtual and in-person learning sessions.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner and work closely for productive collaboration within the training department and other departments (Sales, Marketing, HR, Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, Rewards and Loyalty Brand Partners) to ensure alignment on training initiatives, calendars, and resources.
  8. Project Support: Assist the Training Department in executing department projects, including creating timelines, managing tasks, and coordinating team efforts to support new hire onboarding, learning journeys, training transcripts, VILT and ILT programs, regional meetings and NSM events.
  9. Contract + Financial Support: Assisting and supporting vendor contracts, POs, account receivables and working with Finance on invoice needs.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/medical aesthetics.
  3. 3+ years of sales training experience (field training, classroom training, etc.).
  4. Strong attention to detail and organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced setting.
  5. Optimistic, high-energy, initiative-taking, with high emotional intelligence.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor and ability to interact with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  7. Ability to be a strong collaborator aligned with our culture.
  8. Experience with LMS and Learning Technology platforms, including AI, preferred.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of learning new systems quickly.
  10. Experience managing data and reporting tools to support training programs and workshops.

Additional Information:

  1. Office location – Newport Beach, CA (Hybrid onsite Tuesday through Thursday).
  2. Position reports to Director, Sales Training and Development.
  3. Travel required up to 30%.

Compensation & Total Rewards:

This is an exempt position. The expected salary range for this position is $70,400 - $88,000. Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications and more.
