· Champion compliance with application engineering procedures during AE onboarding.
· Provide insightful feedback to the Lead Application Engineer regarding the performance of Application Engineer I in training, assessing their progress against job requirements and goals.
· Exhibit outstanding communication and mentoring skills, making training and onboarding a dynamic part of your daily routine.
· Thoroughly and accurately determine the technical and commercial requirements of applications.
· Select the perfect products to meet these needs.
· Develop precise cost models for both standard and custom equipment.
· Set competitive pricing levels and realistic lead times.
· Communicate requirements effectively to companies internal engineering and manufacturing teams.
· Collaborate enthusiastically with the Sales Team to develop and present compelling customer sales strategies.
· Partner with customers and the Engineering team to create innovative custom solutions that satisfy application requirements.
· Manage the commercial and technical aspects of customer relationships with a keen eye for detail.
· Build and nurture strong relationships with internal resources and the Sales Team.
· Deliver timely and effective communication, both verbally and in writing, to internal resources and the Sales Team.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or technical degree.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in an Application Engineering role working directly at an OEM.
