Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced RMS Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Retail Solutions, specifically in RMS. You will play a crucial role in understanding business requirements and developing technical solutions to meet a wide range of business initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand business requirements and develop solution approaches for various business initiatives.
• Create detailed technical designs for building solutions using Oracle Retail Solution.
• Build, test, and deploy solutions to meet business requirements.
• Design, develop, and test complex application software, and modify and maintain existing applications based on established standards.
• Maintain and document interface systems and address database performance issues as needed.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise:

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of strong techno-functional experience in Oracle Retail suites of applications, particularly RMS.
• Knowledge of RIB architecture, Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA), and Retail Price Management (RPM).
• Expertise in Oracle PLSQL, Procedural Language, UNIX shell scripting, integration bus, and message services.
• Experience in developing and designing complex applications related to RMS, including an understanding of production support and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like GIT/GITLAB. Experience with TES or any other job scheduler is a plus.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies using SCRUM and Test-Driven Development.
• Bonus: Experience with Kafka streaming, Kubernetes, and public cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Bonus: Knowledge in event-driven design and implementation patterns, containers and microservices, REST APIs.
